At RPM Equine, our Veterinary Physiotherapy service focuses on holistic equine rehabilitation to enhance performance and maintain your horse's health. Each initial session, lasting approximately 2 hours, includes full gait analysis, detailed palpation, targeted treatments, and personalized exercise prescriptions tailored to your horse's unique needs. Cancellation Policy
At RPM Equine, we operate a structured booking system to ensure safe, professional and effective delivery of veterinary physiotherapy services. Booking & Payment All appointments must be booked in advance via our online booking system or by prior agreement. Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise arranged. Appointments are not confirmed until payment has been received. A completed Client Registration Form must be submitted prior to the first session. Veterinary Consent Under the Veterinary Surgeons Act (1966), veterinary physiotherapy requires veterinary consent if there is a lameness or a diagnosed condition. Written consent from your veterinary surgeon must be obtained before the first appointment. Treatment cannot proceed without this. We may liaise directly with your vet where appropriate. Clients must disclose any changes in their horse’s health, medication, workload, or behaviour prior to each session. Cancellations We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Less than 24 hours’ notice or failure to attend will result in the full appointment fee being charged. Late arrivals may result in reduced treatment time to avoid disruption to subsequent bookings. Full fees will still apply. Horse Health & Suitability Horses must be fit for physiotherapy treatment at the time of appointment. Treatment will not proceed if a horse presents with: Signs of contagious illness Elevated temperature Open or infected wounds Undiagnosed acute lameness Unsafe or aggressive behaviour RPM Equine reserves the right to refuse or terminate treatment if welfare or safety concerns arise. Full fees may still apply. Requirements The horse must be clean and dry prior to treatment. Liability All treatments are carried out in accordance with professional veterinary physiotherapy standards. By booking, clients acknowledge the inherent risks associated with equine treatment and agree to RPM Equine’s full Terms & Conditions.
