At RPM Equine, we offer our dedicated hot and cold wash bay and solarium for use, ensuring your horse receives optimal care and comfort. Our facilities provide a perfect environment for both rehabilitation and relaxation, supporting your equine athlete’s recovery and maintenance. Cancellation Policy
The wash bay and solarium facilities at RPM Equine are provided to support horse hygiene, rehabilitation, and conditioning. Safe and correct use is essential to protect horse welfare, equipment, and personnel. Wash Bay Use Horses must be handled by a competent adult at all times. Legs must be cleaned thoroughly before water treadmill sessions using the provided scrub solution. Hot and cold water should be used appropriately for the horse’s condition as directed by RPM Equine staff. Sharp objects, debris, or grit must be removed from hooves prior to use to prevent injury and damage. Excessively dirty horses may have sessions shortened, rescheduled, or refused. Safety: Water temperatures will be controlled by RPM Equine staff; do not adjust taps or hoses without instruction. Electric equipment in the wash bay must not be used near water unless instructed. Slippery surfaces: handlers should wear suitable footwear; horses must be led carefully. Solarium Use Solarium use is by appointment only and must be supervised. Horses must be clean and dry before entering the solarium. Maximum recommended exposure times are set by RPM Equine staff depending on horse size, coat, and condition. Horses must be calm, safely tied or contained, and continuously monitored. The solarium must not be used for horses with skin injuries, heat intolerance, or any condition that could be exacerbated by infrared heat unless directed by a vet or physiotherapist. Safety: Handlers must stand clear of moving or hot surfaces. RPM Equine staff will switch the solarium on and off; do not operate controls independently. Use of the solarium without supervision is strictly prohibited. Booking & Liability Use of the wash bay and solarium must be booked in advance. Cancellations follow the standard 24-hour notice policy. RPM Equine is not liable for injury or accidents arising from misuse of facilities. By using the wash bay or solarium, clients acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to follow RPM Equine’s full Terms & Conditions.
